ABOUT US
Hola Skoko Football Academy aims to provide upcoming footballers with the correct tools, training and necessary exposure to ensure future footballers are recognised in South Africa and given the opportunity to further their footballing careers. Hola Skoko Football Academy provides a platform for growth and the potential to become professional footballers.
Hola Skoko Football Academy and The Soccer Studio is the brain child of founder Nishaan Ansary who has an immense passion for anything football. Nishaan Ansary started his footballing career at the tender age of 5 for a local club called Lesco Football Club. He had quickly impressed coaches and by the age of 8 was already playing in the under 11 division. By the age of 16, Nishaan had excelled at his local club and had gone for trials at various clubs including Wits and Black Leopards. By 19, Nishaan had trialed at Wits Academy, Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy, Moroka Swallows U/19 and Stars of Africa and also had the opportunity to go to the United States of America on a football scholarship but this was declined due to family and academic commitments. At the mature age of 23 under the Moroka Swallows banner, one last opportunity presented itself to go to France on a 6 week trial with a Ligue 2 development team. 2 weeks before the trial date Nishaan had sustained one of his worst injuries in which his pelvis had twisted and recovery time for this injury was a minimum of 8 weeks with intense physio. This proved to be Nishaans last opportunity at a professional contract and due to the unfortunate circumstances had to turn down the offer.
Unfortunately due to many injuries sustained from playing indoor football, Nishaan never got the opportunity to play in the first team. Another unfortunate circumstance was that Nishaan got a lot of these trials by just being in the right place at the right time and being selected to trial at the various clubs. A light bulb went off in 2016 in which the Hola Skoko Football Academy was born. The idea behind the academy is to provide exposure for young talent increasing their chances of being scouted. Together with the exposure factor, players will be trained and equipped with the necessary skills to deal with these trial opportunities and stay away from places that could hinder their footballing opportunities reducing the risk of injury.
Nishaan is now a qualified Quantity Surveyor (Bsc. Hons(QS) WITS) and is looking to give back to the community and assist future footballers where ever he can. There are many talented footballers out there but have not been given the right exposure or the correct training. The brief stints with the academy teams had given Nishaan excellent experience and it is now time to impart this knowledge to the youth.

Hola Skoko Football Academy provides a platform for growth in which videos are uploaded of individuals to the world wide web as well as all forms of social media maximizing exposure for the players. Scouts from various football organisations both local and international will be invited to view these videos published on the website and get a sneak peak of a players potential and talent.
The Soccer Studio is the grassroots development structure for Hola Skoko Football Academy (HSFA) and operates to ensure players at grassroots level are given the correct training to succeed in the higher age groups. All sessions are designed taking the fundamental factors of performance into consideration.
FUTURE SUPERSTARS
Players of the Hola Skoko Football Academy will be given special one on one training to ensure all are given the necessary tools to succeed. Training will be given to individuals to target weak points and assist future footballers in becoming the best footballers that they can be. Grassroots development is crucial and this will be one of our key focuses hence the creation of The Soccer Studio which places a lot of emphasis on the Long Term Player Development Model (LTPDM).
Freestyle and "in action videos" will be uploaded for each player highlighting the players strengths and weaknesses. These videos will be uploaded to showcase these players talent to the world .Trials are not guaranteed but this academy provides exposure for players which increases the chances of being scouted. We also network with some of the PSL development structures to give our players a fighting chance in being selected.
The Soccer Studio also assists in identifying players in the younger age groups and refining their skills. These players also have the opportunity, if exceptional, to go play for the junior structures of best PSL clubs in the country.
HOW WE GET YOU THERE
Training from professional and experienced coaches will be provided to ensure each player gets the special attention they deserve. We will provide training for Under 6 - 14 which falls in The Soccer Studio category and training from Under 16 - Seniors which forms part of the HSFA.
Videos of these players will be uploaded on the website as well as all forms of social media to provide maximum exposure for these players. The world will be able to get a sneak peak of a players talent. Scouts from different football organisations will also be given the option to view the players videos If one of the scouts are happy with what they see, a date for a trial will be arrange and then its up to the footballer. We will do the best of our ability to ensure players selected for trials are ready to kill it and impress the coaches by providing the selected footballers with the necessary training.
Our vision is to see Hola Skoko Football Academy producing future Bafana Bafana footballers as well as giving players the opportunity to trial internationally in the best leagues in the world at the highest level.
HOW IT WORKS
Hola Skoko Football Academy as the name suggests is a center for excellence in football. We strive at achieving the best for our players by ensuring coaches are minimum Safa Level D accredited. This plays a major role as your kids are given the correct tools and techniques to excel especially from a grassroots level.
We believe that if the base is strong, the player will excel in all forms of the game and will have a much better understanding of football once he moves up into the more developed age groups.
We place huge emphasis on grassroots development as we feel that this is where the country as a whole is lacking and we would like to change this one player at a time.
The academy provides a platform for players to learn and grow in a footballing sense. We are happy to welcome all players whether just beginning or players seeking to develop skills and abilities already acquired. We think of ourselves as a school for football development from a grassroots level in which players from all backgrounds are welcome.
Video footage is also analysed in order for us to hone in on player strengths and weaknesses. Videos are also taken during training sessions in order to provide players with exposure as many players are exceptional but are never seen and hence become wasted talent. We, at Hola Skoko Football Academy want to get players noticed on a world wide platform.
From the under 12 -23 category we push for trials at the more established clubs both local and abroad. We also arrange friendlies between other clubs and academies so coaches can assess players on their factors of performance in game situation.
We strive for excellence and not mediocrity and we believe this attitude is what puts us a stride above the rest. We are working towards becoming the number 1 feeder of amateur players into professional clubs in the country.

Every professional footballing career began with a dream. The dream to be something more, the dream to be on the big stage and score the winning goal or make an important interception or slide tackle to save a goal and win the cup. We at Hola Skoko Football Academy share this dream and would like to assist future superstars in achieving these goals and dreams.
The Determination
As we all know, dreams mean nothing without the will to succeed and determination. The harder you work the better you will become and more opportunities will present themselves. Hola Skoko Football Academy works with individual players in which Safa accredited coaches will provide these players with the necessary training to succeed and tun the dreams, blood, sweat and tears into actual opportunities at a footballing career.
The Opportunity
The opportunity is where players will be selected for trials at one of the affiliated institutions and turn all the dreams and hard work into reality. Before this opportunity even arises, coaches at Hola Skoko Football Academy will ensure the player is both physically and mentally ready for the trial.
