HoLa Skoko® Football Academy: Developing Future Football Stars
Founded in April 2017, HoLa Skoko® Football Academy has quickly established itself as a leader in youth football development. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide high-quality training sessions for players aged 4 to 16 and to ensure that development is done the right way.
At HoLa Skoko®, we firmly believe in the motto: “Develop first, and winning will come naturally.” This philosophy drives everything we do, focusing on building well-rounded players who have the skills, confidence, and mindset to excel both on and off the field. Our commitment to player development is at the heart of our program, and we strive to ensure that each player improves with every session, fostering a lifelong love for the game.

From our youngest players starting at the age of 4, to our seasoned seniors, HoLa Skoko® offers structured training that caters to all levels of skill and development. We take pride in delivering professional, engaging sessions designed to help players reach their full potential. Our coaches are committed to honing technical skills, improving tactical understanding, and developing physical fitness in a fun and supportive environment.
Building a Complete Football Structure
HoLa Skoko® is more than just a football academy for youth players. Our club also includes a First Team and a Reserve Squad, both of which compete in the Deep South LFA. These teams are vital to the overall structure of the organization, providing a competitive outlet for our older players and those ready to take the next step in their footballing journey. With the goal of promotion to the prestigious SAB League, HoLa Skoko® is laying the foundation for a sustainable football pathway that extends from under-4s all the way up to senior players.
This comprehensive structure makes us one of the largest and most complete football organizations in Lenasia and Johannesburg South. Our players are not only given the tools to develop at an early age but are also provided with the opportunity to progress through the ranks, eventually joining competitive teams and striving for excellence at higher levels.

Coaching philosophy
Our coaching philosophies ensure training sessions are both fun and effective. Our coaching methods are innovative, unique and we use all types of equipment to promote effective and efficient learning of the game. We incorporate UK, American, African and Brazilian training styles to assist each player in reaching their full potential. Our coaches tackle the fundamentals of football in creative ways ensuring players achieve in all four areas. These areas are technical, tactical, physical and psychological and this creates the base of our training sessions.
The aim of HoLa Skoko ® is to ensure the correct techniques of football are learnt at grassroots level and are then carried out into the more competitive ages. We believe that a strong foundation will allow for a great football future. We assist players in acquiring trials, prepare them for these trials and then manage them once they have been accepted into the development structure. Please note coaching is not done on a volunteer basis - all coaches are paid for their services as we intend to provide the best service to our clients.
Meet the TEAM
Nishaan Ansary -Founder & academy director (safa d license, safa c license, coerver intro, coerver youth diploma, UEFA C LICENSE, FIFA FOOTBALL AGENT LICENSE)
Nishaan Ansary will be at the forefront of taking this academy to the top. He has completed the SAFA Level D and SAFA Level C licenses and will soon be completing the SAFA B License. He has also attended coaching clinics at Alex Black Aces and Orlando Pirates. This will ensure that the youth get the best training, skills, knowledge and necessary assistance to push them in the direction of being professional footballers. Coach Nish is passionate about anything football and has taken the time to complete his qualifications to ensure the correct knowledge and techniques are passed down to the other coaches and in turn passed down to the kids. The academy holds internal coaching sessions for all coaches in the academy to ensure the same level of professionalism and ideas of football are carried from the Promotion team down to the juniors. Coach Nish's experience in the footballing world together with the certifications will be imparted on the grassroots development which is the focus of the academy

Nishaan Ansary will be at the forefront of taking this academy to the top. He personally over looks all training sessions as well as ensuring that each coach completes their D license certification as a pre-requisite of coaching at the academy. All coaches are paid which increases the level of professionalism. Paid coaches also makes sure that we ascertain to a level of quality which increases players abilities in all divisions. We are the first academy in lenasia to step away from the volunteer coaching philosophy and start the new generation of paid coaches. We take the term SAFA accredited coaches very seriously and make sure all our coaches achieve this.

CORE SERVICES
Players of HoLa Skoko ® will be given special one on one training to ensure all are given the necessary tools to succeed. Training will be given to individuals to target weak points and assist future footballers in becoming the best footballers that they can be. Grassroots development is crucial and this will be one of our key focuses.
Freestyle and "in action videos" will be uploaded for each player highlighting the players strengths and weaknesses. These videos will be uploaded in which affiliated institutions will be given the opportunity to view these videos and select players for trials. Trials are not guaranteed but this academy provides exposure to the institutions which increases the chances of being scouted.
Training from professional SAFA accredited coaches will be provided to ensure each player gets the special attention they deserve.
Videos of these players will be uploaded on our YouTube channel for maximum exposure in which affiliated institutions will be able to view and in this way get a sneak peak of a player’s talent. If one of the institutions are happy with what they see, a date for a trial will be arrange and then it’s up to the footballer. We will do the best of our ability to ensure players selected for trials are ready to kill it and impress the coaches by providing the selected footballers with the necessary training.

Focus on the Long Term Player Development Model (LTPDM)
TSS 1V1
TSS 1V1 which stands for The Soccer Studio ® 1 versus 1 is a training model designed to very aggressively correct players technique by engaging in rigorous but effective drills to take each player to the next level. The sessions are designed to solely focus on technique of players to ensure passing, controlling, dribbling, heading and shooting is of the highest quality. TSS 1v1 is a program centred around specialized individual football training.
We only allow 6 players per session to carefully work on the fundamental techniques in football and correct these players technique in order for them to succeed in football. The maximum of 6 players also allows us to play small sided games with 3 versus 3 which is an integral part of the game. The 3 versus 3 shape gives us a triangle and this is what we want to see at all times so players are always passing and supporting each other which is the name of the game.
TSS 1V1 is not only for the grassroots development players but also for players who want to work hard in the off season to get ready for the season ahead. The program only runs in the off season so as not to clash with club training and preparation.

Lenasia
HoLa Skoko ® training begins in February and ends in November of each year.
Our training facility is located at Lenasia Model Primary School as well as Flamingo Primary School
Monday to Friday 6:00pm - 7:30pm
The coaching program allows for a maximum of 32 players in each division. The sessions are planned by each coach and run accordingly. All sessions incorporate speed, ball mastery, 1v1 and small sided games. Training sessions are 60 minutes long.

I changed them to Hola Skoko and what a big difference. They look forward to it every week. The skills taught by the experienced coaches together with allowing the boys to play and have fun accordingly, has grown the love of the sport for my boys.
The training is professional in terms of the skills taught and also with regard to the mental conditioning which is what we love. They learn to listen and follow instructions given to them.
